Nissan UK have just released the prices and specs for the new Nissan Leaf as of Jan 1st. They have also introduced a new spec called the N- Connecta which is between the Acenta and the top of the range Tekna. Orders are still open for the 2.0 Limited Edition and we have sold one already in the lovely 'Spring Cloud'.
Nissan's EV line-up has been further bolstered with a new version of the e-NV200 electric van, powered by a 107bhp motor. Designed for use in urban environments, the e-NV200 features the same 40kWh lithium-ion battery as the new Leaf, with an NEDC range of 174 miles compared with 106 miles for the old model. Because the revamped battery is the same size, the van retains the 4200-litre cargo capacity as the outgoing e-NV200.
Demand is high for the New Nissan Leaf with10,000 pre orders already in the Eurpoean market. What this means for the NZ market is that the demonstrators won't be available until at least Aug in the UK and will be in high demand. What we saw with the Ioniq was a 9 month waiting list once delivery began as the entire years quota was sold out in the first three months of release. So its looking like if you want to get a New 40kwh Leaf you will be paying new car prices for some time to come. The Japanese auction sites have a trickle of new leafs but they are selling for high prices and are more expensive currently than the UK prices.
We are currently working on securing some great deals and stock from our UK suppliers.
